RUG BURN presented soap sculptures and drawings by Bri Williams embodying feelings of emptiness, strength, and fragility. The exhibition was accompanied by an eponymous fragrance designed in collaboration with Maxwell Williams.

Bri Williams is an artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Through crafting and composition, Williams allows her objects to embody the abstract: the incommunicability of pain or our inherited mythical figures. She has participated in shows at Queer Thoughts, Ramiken Crucible, Karma International LA, and Interface Gallery. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA from Mills College.
